….”there’s no place like home.”   (BTW The Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie).  My childhood home was in Connecticut.  Now, when I travel to CT to visit, I still find myself saying “I’m going home.”  However, for almost the last two decades, New Jersey and Mission Point have become my homes.  I love and have sweet memories of all the places God has provided for me to call “home.”

…my family…  At my first professional job in NJ, I worked with a woman who decided to play Cupid.  Apparently, she was good at it, because I married her son.  Christian and I have been married for 15 years and he is great husband and father.  We have two amazing children, Margie (13) and Jon (10).  Margie enjoys basketball and is very artistic (writes, draws, sings, acts, and plays piano).  Jon loves to be outside, enjoys healthy competition, and will play any team sport for hours!
…my education…I studied accounting and counseling…Interestingly, neither of these degrees are necessary for my position as Connections Director here at Mission Point.  However, to me, this is a beautiful example of how God does not necessarily call the equipped, but He equips the called.
…I am so glad that I…accepted Christ as Savior, that I obeyed God when He called me to be a stay at home mom, and that I can check running a marathon off my bucket list.
…favorite place on earth…the beach.  I love the sand between my toes, the sounds (including the squaking seagulls), and the view that reminds me that our God controls all things just as He controls the wind and the waves.
…guilty pleasures…ice cold Diet Coke, chai tea lattes, and CHOCOLATE.
….I feel most fulfilled when…I am helping others.
